Les Trucs

One of the most complex as well as entertaining live acts to emerge in recent years from the vibrant scene of Frankfurt, the trilingual act Les Trucs bridges the gap between virtuoso musicianship and adventurous post-performative spectacle. Their music is a mix of intense electronic multi-layering and lyrical hymn-like singalongs and in their gigs they are dressed up in audiovisual technology, appearing absolutely contemporary and somewhat archaic at the same time. Their Sound Acts performance which took place in the middle of the space with the audience surrounding them had the whole room dancing in ecstasy.
