​Peanut Envy

Skyler Braeden Fox aka Peanut Envy is an artist, musician, performer and director from Canada, who lives and works in Berlin. The genderbending artist combines music with narrative elements, drag and performance art. His lyrics are autobiographical and very personal, and through them he tells his story in queer life, the process of his transition as a trans man, criticizing the transphobic methods of western medicine practice, challenging stereotypes of femininity / masculinity and his past having grown up in a conservative Christian society in Ottawa. After his 2016 performance at the Athens Museum of Queer Arts, Peanut Envy returned for a Sound Acts special, presenting old and new material.
