|
Peter Cant is a multidisciplinary theatre-maker, director and writer with a special interest in European theatre and contemporary opera. He has worked with a number of important theatre bodies in the UK, including being a director at Young Vic and most recently presented an opera with composer Luke Styles called 'Unborn in America', which outraged the british press with its playful take on abortion. Krzysztof Honowski is a Berlin-based artist studied English literature at the University of Cambridge and then later Fine Art Media at the Slade School of Fine Art. His installation and performance works have been presented at the Kunsthalle Düsseldorf, the Yard Theatre (London), Judith E. Wilson Studio (Cambridge) and Mica Moca Project (Berlin).Together they presented a durational performance, which developed and progressed in Sound Acts 2016. Bringing together their previous work on Cavafy's Alexandria, Kenneth Anger's seminal film Kustom Kar Kommandos and dubbing / karaoke playfulness, they will create an abstract world of multireferentiality in the post-identitarian gay millieu. |

Peter Cant also presented a show himself in Sound Acts 2015. It was a semi-improvised work-in-progress piece in 21 one-minute parts with participations from the Sound Acts family, the Sex Workers Opera, as well as the audience. The show was developed and devised as a Sound Acts residency.
